Korean BBQ

All you can eat?? Where do I sign up?! The first time I tried Korean BBQ I was taken to Parks BBQ on Vermont by my boyfriend. I really didn't know much about Korean BBQ or anything about Korean foods really. When I saw the menu all I saw was meat cuts and prices ranging from $20-40. How confusing, should I order sides? Am I really just going to have to eat only meat ? I tried asking my boyfriend but he really wasn't any help all he would say was "no don't order sides it comes with salad" after not getting too many answers I just went along with it. Then I was surprised when our table was filled with dishes of foods I've never seen before, now I know those "side dishes"  are banchan! I was surprised when the meat arrived raw and they turned on a grill at the center of our table for us to cook. After taking a few glances at a Korean family across from us I felt a little more comfortable eating our beef brisket. After a while I was wrapping my meat in rice paper adding onions on top, having bites of the kimchi and the romaine salad with this citric dressing that I love. I don't think I'll forget my first taste and experience of Kbbq, I love it, I have it almost once a week. My boyfriend and I even got our own grill to cook our sliced meats. It's delicious and I'm looking forward to sharing my favorite places around ktown I'll make sure to take plenty of pictures too.
