From the San Fernando valley to Ktown

It's been almost a year since I moved out to Koreatown with my boyfriend from the valley. Coming to a place where I didn't know a lot of people or the area can be a little intimidating especially when a lot is written in a language I don't understand. Well thankfully I've been able to explore enough with my boyfriend to get to know our area and where to eat... We're even regulars at a few different spots and all without a Korean friend! I see K-town changing everyday in the year I've been here. Although I reside in the heart of Ktown or as some like to call it "the nice area" it has gone from predominantly Hispanic families to more a younger hip mix of Korean, Hispanic , black, and white. Not only this but our streets are cleaner, more dog friendly buildings, and you see this change more and more often. Well my goal here is just to help others that are moving here or just visiting to try new places the name of the place is in Korean or the dishes aren't what we're used to. We have so many hidden gems here and everything is worth a try! Just a picture of me at Disneyland, now let the K-town eats begin!
